Can I work from home?

We’ve always taken a hybrid approach, but COVID definitely amplified and encouraged us to consider what best-suits the team. We’ve found the sweet spot - we offer both remote contracts for those a certain distance outside of London OR office-based contracts where we ask you to be in the office at least once a week (Thursday’s). 

Our office is also nothing like a traditional office - it’s our culture hub, located in the heart of Shoreditch by Spitalfields market with lots of cafes, pubs and shops within walking distance. We also organise regular team socials including dinners and other cool events, making your journey to the office worth it!

What does your recruitment process look like?

We like to keep this simple, so we arrange 2 interviews as part of our recruitment process - an initial screening call to see if you’re a good fit for the role and company culture, and a skills-based interview to find out more about your experience.

After submitting your application, our dedicated recruitment team will review your CV and cover letter and arrange a screening call. You’ll then be introduced to the hiring manager, who will assign a short task to test your knowledge and understand how you think. Upon completion, a second interview will be arranged with both the hiring manager and relevant department head to discuss your findings in more detail.

What if I don’t see an open role for me?

How can I make my job application stand out?

‘Stand out and be different’ is one of our company values, so we love to see a little extra effort! You can use your cover letter to tell us about all your interesting aspects - a side hustle, an award that you won, a talk you did, unique hobbies, personal projects and so on. Also, it’s a great idea to keep your LinkedIn updated and share it with us!

However, please know that we consider all applications equally and based on merit, keeping our personal biases at bay.

How will NOVOS support my training & growth?

We’re BIG on training - we have extremely healthy and competitive training budgets for each NOVOS employee and it’s up to you how to spend it! We actively encourage and seek external training opportunities if it becomes available and share this knowledge with the team after. 

We also host regular internal training, everything from specific SEO skills and tools, to excel and presentation training. 

More recently, we’ve introduced IGP’s (Individual Growth Plans) to get you on the right track to achieve your personal and professional goals.
