Our award winning Digital PR team is built on strategic thinking, creativity and impact. We are looking to hire a Digital PR Strategy Manager to lead the performance of our Digital PR proposition. 

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes performance, someone who doesn’t just understand Digital PR tactics but knows what makes a link valuable, how it contributes to SEO, and how to steer strategies with data. You'll play a key role in ensuring that our campaigns land the right links in the right places, whether that’s to category pages, product pages, or supporting content designed to drive AI citations.

With AI search changing the way content is surfaced and cited, we believe Digital PR has a critical role to play in helping eCommerce brands stay visible. This role is about helping us lead that shift, by making sure our link-building efforts are highly relevant to the brands we work with, strategically placed, and performance-led.

Reports to Head of Digital PR.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the performance tracking and impact analysis of Digital PR campaigns across our platinum and gold clients.
  • Interpret backlink profiles and share insights with strategists and delivery managers to steer campaign direction and maximise organic growth.
  • Ensure links built are not only high quality, but topically relevant, targeted to deeper pages, and aligned with wider SEO goals.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to show the value of our work, confidently explain the “why” behind our actions, and excel at turning difficult situations into opportunities for long-term client growth.
  • Identify and articulate the role of Digital PR in improving visibility across both traditional and AI-led search results.
  • Own the development and refinement of internal frameworks for link relevance, campaign reporting, and performance benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with our SEO team to build integrated campaign strategies that feed into wider organic objectives.
  • Train and upskill the wider Digital PR team on the evolving relationship between links, search engines, and visibility in the age of AI.
  • Work closely with strategists on forecasting and KPI setting, ensuring performance targets are grounded in insight, not guesswork.

How We Measure Success in This Role

  • Delivery of strong SEO outcomes from Digital PR campaigns (evaluated in context — relevance, depth, and domain strength).
  • Retention and satisfaction of high-value clients based on performance-led delivery.
  • Internal performance frameworks and processes implemented and adopted.
  • Wider team development and upskilling in Digital PR performance thinking.
  • Contribution to NOVOS thought leadership around AI search, SEO, and the future of link-building.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4-5+ years experience in Digital PR and a strong understanding of how it feeds into SEO, especially for eCommerce brands.
  • Skilled in backlink analysis using tools like Ahrefs and SEO Monitor.
  • A clear understanding of why deeper links matter in eCommerce and how relevancy boosts performance, not just rankings, but visibility in AI-powered SERPs.
  • Curiosity and interest in AI-led search evolution, including how Google and other engines surface citations and interpret link authority.
  • Comfortable translating data into action, whether it’s campaign pivots, insight-led reports, or sales deck.
  • Confident communicator who can explain complex performance metrics to internal stakeholders and clients alike
  • Passionate about building the future of Digital PR, one that’s measurable, impactful, and aligned with how people now search.
