The Client

Le Chameau is a leading French boot making company known for its expertly crafted rubber boots. Designed for comfort, durability and all-weather performance, their footwear is trusted by farmers, fishermen and those seeking a premium alternative to standard wellington and country boots. 

The Challenge

During our partnership, Le Chameau experienced major structural changes, impacting our efforts. However, upon consistent content delivery, we began to see encouraging results. This included success in the growth of commercial keywords, specifically in the "wellies" category which was initially brand-sensitive. 

The Objectives

Following Le Chameau’s updated product offering, we rolled out a strategy that targeted new commercial intent terms, supported by a refreshed blog approach to enhance long-tail discovery and strengthen internal linking.

Strategy Highlights

During the 7 month campaign, our approach included:

  • 44 technical SEO tickets covering key structural improvements across the website
  • 28 content briefs that aligned with commercial priorities
  • 116 on-page optimisations, including title tags, internal links and copy edits
  • An organic growth plan designed to grow authority in key product areas whilst remaining brand-safe

The Results

As a result of Le Chameau significantly reducing their product range for brand related reasons, our campaign shifted from growth focused to recovery focused during our partnership.

Organic sessions tracked closely against 2024 trends and started to show signs of improvement in May

Organic revenue mirrored this, but held relatively stable given the reduced product range
